A warm welcome by the great host Mike at a lovely hotel with 3 rooms near to Samara away from the noise and in the middle of nature.
Mike’s place is a really nice place. We really enjoyed our stay here, since it’s a bit hidden in the forest you can see a lot of animals. We saw howler monkeys, black toucans and some army ants helped clean up the garden. The room was nice, comfy and absolutely clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the really big pool. Mike is quick to response and always keeping some space so that we had a lot of privacy. One thing to note: You should have a vehicle if you’re planning to observe the surrounding since there’s no town bus, just town to town. We highly recommend this place and will surely return one day!
This place felt great. I rested really well here. Great jumping off point to explore locally, within a short drive to town or further drive to Nosara. Really clean, not uptight clean, just genuine attention to detail. The host was authentic and had good local tips. Loved the pool. The outdoor kitchen had all one would need and felt good to use. Felt like a safe private setting. Other guests that were staying at the place had a nice community area to interact in, which felt great. Would highly recommend this stay as its setting felt really good. Quiet, peaceful. Almost tranquil, though I would not say that with the monkey’s until I would get used to sleeping with their sound 😉 Which made for great dreams!
Highly recommend this place. We spent there 1month with our little kiddo and we had a great time. House is beautiful situated surrounded by nature, feels like in the middle of rainforest but than it’s really close to city Samara -literally 5min by car. Mike is really welcoming and knows a lot about the area. Everything was even better than we expected.
Accommodation – check. Scenery – check. Pool – check. Yes this could be the most perfect place to be in the world!
This is a lovely place to stay so private yet very close to Samara beach, restaurants and shops. A hidden gem, large pool , well stocked cooking and eating area with excellent internet and host interaction. Great stay Mike. Many thanks
